Location
Need to stop for lunch?
For hand-tossed, woodfired pizza check out the Golden Mile gem - Il Forno’s. You can’t lose with any pizza, any soup, and the BBQ chicken strips (our recommended way to order those is “with sauce on, blue cheese on the side”.)
For a little flair, try our longterm favorite, Casa Rico. It has the oh-so-necessary post-shopping margarita, and plenty of fresh and fragrant dishes. (That Burrito Gordo is worth the extra calories.)
For an all American crowd pleaser, head to downtown Middletown and try the Main Cup. It’s a place you can take your first date, your kids, or your friends on half-priced wine bottle night (but we wouldn’t know anything about that).
Common Hints on Directions
Coming from the west (Route 40 or Route 70 eastbound – Hagerstown, Greencastle)
You’ll enter Route 40 in the eastbound direction towards Frederick. You will need to make a U-turn and head west. You may do so across from the Exxon, but otherwise at the light for Old Camp Rd. We are on the right, just past the giant candy cane.
Coming from the east/south (Route 70 eastbound – Mount Airy, Montgomery County, Annapolis, Northern Virginia)
You’ll use the “Braddock Heights” exit 49 on Route 70. Turn right off of the exit onto Route 40A, eastbound. As the hill begins to level out, turn left at Old Camp Rd. Turn left onto Route 40w, the Golden Mile. We are about a minute further on the right, just past the giant candy cane.
*Note: For our Martinsburg customers, it’s about the same whether you travel up 81N and down Route 70E, or over on 9E, 340E, and 40W. You get more options!
