Teak
Wood products are as distinctive as the styles they are used on. Teak is a dense-close grained hardwood with a high natural oil content. Teak is exceptionally hard wearing, highly resistant to rotting and is impervious to the elements. Many of our styles are offered unfinished which yields the fresh-cut golden color of natural teak. Left untreated, natural teak will age gracefully to a silver grey. The original color can be maintained with regular mainenance.

Gloster First established in 1981, Gloster started out as a specialist, UK based manufacturer of teak garden benches and seats. The product range has expanded to include a much more varied selection of outdoor furniture, including folding chairs, dining tables and sunloungers. Today, Gloster is firmly established as one of the most recognised names in quality outdoor furniture, with over 300 product lines and a world-wide distribution network. Key to their philosophy is the belief that outdoor furniture is as important a style statement as indoor furniture, hence their range incorporates both classic and contemporary designs to cater for all tastes and requirements.



Jewels of Java

Jewels of Java All of "Jewles of Java" teak wood is sourced from Perum Perhutani and certified as 100% plantation grown. Perum Perhutani is the oldest teak plantation in Indonesia and covers an area of 2.5 million hectares. The plantation is owned by the Indonesian Government and consists of 1.8 million hectares of production forest and 700,000 hectares of protected forest. It takes 30 to 40 years to grow quality trees. Conservation of the land and the forests and social responsibility on both local and a global scale go hand-in-hand. Jewels of Java is proud, through participation and association, to contribute to and support socially and economically responsible practices for today and the future.
